Happy New Year!

You guys....2016 is going to be so good, I can feel it. There's so much promise and so many great plans in the works for Braebrook. I set out to do a lot in 2015 and I accomplished many of those goals. A few others have been pushed back to this year (most of those have to do with performance training/trialing which is very time consuming) and along with them I have added several more.

(Image below is our top nine pictures on Instagram and the dogs are as follows: Top row: Fiona and Pelly, Traveler, Riley. Middle row: Bling, Friday (Saje), Ryan. Bottom row: Junior (Willie), Fiona, Hardy)

A few highlights for me in 2015 were winning a huge sporting group with Vinnie, winning a best in specialty show with Libby, whelping my first Smooth litter, whelping my first GSP litter in 13 years, and attending three shows on my bucket list (Morris and Essex, Montgomery County Kennel Club and the US Doberman National). I have several more bucket list shows I'd like to attend this year along with many breeding and performance goals and I will be happily sharing them with you here on this blog. The first big news to share will be a German Shorthaired Pointer breeding announcement, so stay tuned, that post will be coming out tomorrow.

I hope you had a wonderful holiday with friends and family as well as the four legged crew, I know that I certainly did. Today is the first day back to a schedule for me with the kids in school and Chris at work. I was up late into the night last night filling out my planner and making a huge to do list, there's so much to accomplish (I get a little thrill every time I cross something off)! I look forward to seeing as many of you as I can in 2016, whether that's at dog shows, performance events or just meeting up when and where we can. Thank you for being a part of the Braebrook family, it's because of you I get to live my dream and I cherish each and every one of you.

  1. A couple of dogs have kept me away from the computer so had not read your HNY post. Great pics (esp Junior and Friday), looking forward to showing Blue off later this month after her Sister gets past this Heat!:)
