Hero x Libby Breeding Announcement

I'm very excited to announce our upcoming GSP litter due on January 30th, 2015. I flew out to Toronto at the end of November with Libby in tow to breed her to Ch Algerland Action Hero LegacyK FDJ NA11 "Hero". Hero is really proving himself to be a great sire of typey puppies with good hunting instincts and good temperaments and I can't wait to see what the end of January brings us.

Libby is BISS Ch LegacyK LibertyReigns Braebrook FDJ CGN and is both pretty and loves to hunt. Her temperament is excellent with children and other dogs and she is the easiest dog to live with, she doesn't bark, dig, chew or otherwise make a nuisance of her herself. If all GSP's were this easy everyone could have one. ;)

My trip to Ontario to breed Libby was so much fun. It was my first trip there and not only was I able to meet Libby's breeder and Hero's owner Nancibeth (we have been friends for years but had never actually met in person), but I was also able to take in a GSP and Doberman Specialty show while I was there. It was very nice to be able to see many of the Eastern dogs in the flesh. The icing on the cake was Hero daughter Audrey winning the GSP Specialty.

I was also able to take a tourist day to check out Niagara Falls, pretty spectacular but darn cold that time of year!

Some great memories were made on the trip which is all part of the joy of owning, breeding and competing with dogs. It brings with it a very full life.
