Spartan x Kyra Litter Announcement

I am very happy to announce that the Spartan x Kyra puppies arrived yesterday (Dec 14th). I was expecting a small litter as Kyra wasn't very big and three lovely puppies emerged, all weighing over a  pound so a very nice size. They are big and healthy and nursing with gusto and Kyra is being an excellent mother.

The sire of the litter is BIS/BISS Am/Can Ch Supernova's Never Surrender CGN WAC. Spartan has won the Canadian National Specialty twice along with his long list of wins in the show ring. He is OFA Good, elbows clear, vWD clear, thyroid normal and is holtered regularly. His dam is alive and well at ten and his sire is the same at twelve, there is overall great longevity in the pedigree. Spartan has an excellent temperament, very confident and bold but not aggressive with either people or dogs, excellent with children and can be counted on to protect you if need be. In short, exactly what you want in a Doberman Pinscher.

I love this picture of Spartan during the aggressive stranger portion of his WAE test, there is no doubt he was going to protect owner Danica if need be.

The dam of the litter is Ch Esquire's Domino CGN. Kyra finished her championship quickly and passed her CGN test with no problem at all. She is OFA Good, holter normal, vWD carrier and does have a low thyroid. Kyra is excellent with children and other dogs, is keen to work, is a clean and balanced mover with a short back and carries her top line perfectly. You can see a video of her here.

The pedigree for this litter can be found here.

Here are a couple pictures of the kiddies all settled in with momma. There are two red girls and one black boy.

This litter is all spoken for but we do have plans for another Doberman litter in the spring. Stay tuned for details on that and we hope you enjoy pictures of these guys in the meantime.

CC and Traveler

CC and Traveler are a couple of the 2015 up and comers. They are both in co owned homes and I'm very much looking forward to seeing how they mature and how their 2016 show debuts go.

Braebrook's Canadian Club "CC" is from our Remy x Hadley litter born earlier this year. This whole litter was very uniform in type, all very smooth (something Remy puts on his puppies) and balanced. Her temperament is excellent, very outgoing and brave and easy to engage. She is pictured below at seven months.

Braebrook's On The Road Again "Traveler" is from our Harrison x Enya litter of just two puppies. He is square with good bone and good balance and a goofy boy personality. He is pictured below at seven and a half months.

There are some lovely puppies coming up, I think 2016 is going to be a good year and I'm already looking forward to it.
